What and who is MSAC Basketball?
The MSAC Basketball training program is an intensive training course designed to develop the skills of junior players at all levels. The program is intended to assist with the development of the player’s fundamentals and techniques which will maximise each participant’s potential. The head coach of the program is Nigel Purchase, former NBL star with the Melbourne Tigers who has over 20 years experience coaching at the junior level.  Weekly programs are targeted at the individual level of each participant and all players are grouped according to their age and skill level. The program provides for the progressive development of each individual and places importance on the ongoing enjoyment, commitment and fun for every participant.
Only committed, verified and enthusiastic coaches are involved in MSAC Basketball programs.

    MSAC SKILLS SESSIONS

    Skill sessions with Nigel Purchase at Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre.

    The MSAC Basketball team are taking enrolments for term 1, and boys and girls 6-12 years of age, can book a position in the exciting new program regardless of their experience. Beginners through to experienced junior basketballers will gain valuable skills tuition from our knowledgeable and enthusiastic coaches.

    Training sessions are held at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday after school 4-5p.m. Students can participate in one or more sessions per week.

    The new program will offer every participant a training kit consisting of:
    • Basketball
    • Personalised reversible training singlet (students name on the back)
    The new program also offers:
    • Excellent coaching staff
    • Graduation program
    • Fun environment
    • Fitness and skill development

    Individuals, group or team sessions available

    Session times

    Mondays: 13, 20, 27 February 5, 26 March
    Wednesdays: 15, 22, 29 February 7, 21, 28 March
    Thursdays: 16, 23 February 1, 8, 22, 29 March

    $100 + $30 (Ball and uniform)

    ALBERT PARK COLLEGE SKILLS SESSIONS

    The MSAC Basketball Skills program 2012 is proud to announce a new high quality program located at the Albert Park College.

    The MSAC Basketball team are taking enrolments for term 1. Beginners through to experienced basketballers will gain valuable skills tuition from our knowledgeable and enthusiastic coaches.

    Training sessions are held at the Albert Park College (83 Danks St, Albert Park) every Saturday Morning:

    BEGINNERS 9.00am - 10.00am

    REP PLAYERS 10.00am - 11.00am

    ADULTS (social players) 11.15am - 12.15pm

    Session Cost $30.00 (per session)
